Tribal are currently recruiting a Front-end Developer to work as part of the Development team of Semestry (https://semestry.com/), part of Tribal’s product portfolio. Semestry design and build cloud scheduling and resource management solutions for the education sector.

The Role

We are looking for motivated developer who can effectively advocate and promote good software practices and support technical standards that result in high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software.

You will not be a stranger to working in a code quality led environment where you’ll have been part of unit testing and code reviews.

So what experience would we like to see from you?

You will be an experienced developer who has a few years of development under their belt and are comfortable analysing requirements and translating them into product specification in a timely fashion. You will not be a stranger to working in a code quality led environment where you’ll have been part of unit testing and code reviews whilst working with the following technologies:

  • Experience with Web development and Javascript
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with bundling technology such as Webpack, NPM etc
  • Experience with HTML and CSS, including cross–browser compatibility, responsive Web design
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA)
  • Experience in working with RESTful Web services and version control systems, including GIT
  • Experience with testing cross–browser, cross–platform, and cross–device compatibility
